Talbot will face Irvine Meadow at Beechwood after the WOSL released their opening fixtures as they try and kick start the new season. The original date was set for the 10th of October but this looked to be kicked back to the 31st of the month as the rate of infection caused by Covid-19 looks to be rising with some area’s of Scotland facing another lock-down. With the league fixtures now three month behind the governing body has split the 20 club premier division into two groups with Talbot and the Meadow joining, Benburb, Rob Roy, Blantyre Victoria, Kilbirnie, Clydebank, Largs, Bonnyton and Glenafton.
At the moment the WOSL have been in contact with the member clubs and have handed out questionares to gauge the feelings of the clubs. With the recent results concerning Covid becoming more alarming this could be a tense time for the Talbot and the supporters.
