SPONSOR’S MATCH OF THE MATCH AWARDS v KIRKINTILLOCH ROB ROY (Sat 28th Oct)

It was a first sponsorship visit from Pieter Slooves and Friends. Pieter’s son Neil has made a huge impression with his excellent performances and consistency since joining the the club from Irvine Meadow. The group however, sportingly picked Michael Wardrope as their Man of the Match and the award was presented by Jake Keir.

SCOTTISH CUP BECKONS AS TALBOT HEAD NORTH

This Saturday Talbot make the long journey to face North Premier League side Brig of Don from Aberdeen in the Scottish Junior Cup third round. The “Brig” are currently sitting mid table in their division which is headed by Hermes who bundled Beith out of the competition in a penalty shoot-out. Last Saturday they grabbed an impressive draw away to Dyce who sit in second place in the North Division, and in the previous round hammered Irvine Vics 6-1 at their home ground.
