TALBOT HEAD TO CUMBERNAULD AS FOUR DAYS OF HEAVY RAIN FORECAST
Talbot fans will be making their longest trip this season as the team return to Guys Meadow a ground that’s fast becoming a bogey pitch for the Talbot players. They face a side who have not had the best of times since the departure of their manager Stewart Maxwell although they did notch up a creditable 2-0 win at Troon on Saturday. The Talbot backroom staff along with the supporters will be crossing their fingers that this game doesn’t fall foul to the rain that is forecast. Weather reports point to consistent rain from Wednesday onwards and with Cumbernauld using the pitch on Saturday hopefully the short timescale will give the groundsmen time to get some remedial work done.
