The Annual Fundraising Club AGM and Awards day was held in the Talbot Social Club on Saturday 8th June. The club was packed with Players, the Management & Coaching Team, Committee, and last but certainly not least, were a large number of members of the Fundraising Club, which has contributed greatly to Auchinleck Talbot FC since its formation.
Prior to the meeting, a minute’s silence was held to remember and honour the memory of members who are sadly no longer with us.
Award winners were as follows:
The Fundraising Club Award was won by Ali Boyle and presented by Bobby Millar.
The John Kiltie Top Goal Scorer Award was won by Connor Boyd (21 goals, plus 3 in friendlies) and presented by Campbell Peden.
The Tam Fulton Memorial Shield was won by Luke Gillies and presented by Morton Wright Jnr.
The Milton Keynes Sportsman’s Award was won by Luke Gillies and presented by Brian Hewitt.
The Gary McPheators Coaches Player of the Year was Neil Slooves with manager Tommy Sloan making the presentation.
The Jim Rowan Programme Player of the Year was won by Connor Boyd with Steven White making the presentation.
The John Hazel Sponsors Player of the Year was Connor Boyd with Colin Chisholm making the presentation.
The Loons Player of the Year Award was won by Neil Slooves and presented by Jim Dunsmore.
The Mattie McMurdo Players’ Player of the Year was won by Neill McPherson and presented by Skye Scott.
The Peter Bryce Committee Player of the Year was Ali Boyle with Hugh Mair Snr making the presentation.
The Overall Player of the Year was won by Ali Boyle and presented by Morton Wright Snr.
Missing due to holidays was Aiden Wilson who won the Peter Bryce Jnr Memorial Award and also the MKM Goal of the Season award for his strike at Darvel in the semi-final of the Scottish Junior Cup.
Also missing was Ruaridh Langan who won the John Holroyd Memorial Award.
