A decent crowd turned up to watch Talbot take on an upbeat Kilwinning side who had just come off a 3-1 win at Clydebank. However the game turned out to be a battle in midfield with both sides failing to make any clear cut chances. Talbot did have the better of the second half but rarely troubled the home keeper. In all a draw was a fair result and Talbot collected a hard earned point.
