Auchinleck Talbot FC would like to thank the family of lifelong Talbot Fan Bill Clelland, who sadly passed away recently for the generous donation towards our Pitch Development Fund.

 

PLAYER UPDATE

23 year old Defender/Midfielder Andy Kerr has been signed from Whitletts Victoria

With only a few weeks until the new season kicks off, Talbot are launching their season ticket campaign which so far is proving highly successful.

After our resounding 5-0 win over Thorton Hibs on Saturday, supporters can turn their attention to Wednesday evenings trip to Kilwinning Sports Centre where we take on Division One side Kilwinning Rangers. The match is scheduled for a 7.30pm kick off and gate prices are set at £5/£3 and children under 16 free.

Scheduled as the “Buffs” opening pre-season their new manager Kevin Kelly will be desperate to run the rule over his new side. Kevin is formerly a Caledonian Loco’s and St Rochs manager as well as playing well over ten years at our grade.

He has brought his own backroom staff to Kilwinning which includes former Talbot player Scott Black.

This match kicks off a busy week for the “Bot” with a visit on Saturday from Tranent followed by a closed doors match at Beechwood against Kilmarnock.

TALBOT 1909 GOLF EVENT

TESTIMONIAL YEAR – Tommy Sloan & Allan McLuckie

The Club is to organize a Testimonial Year for Team Manager Tommy Sloan and his Assistant Allan McLuckie over the course of next season, in appreciation of 20 outstanding years’ service with ATFC.

A Testimonial Committee will be formed prior to the season starting and a Fundraising Schedule put in place soon after.  More details will be made available soon.

The Annual Fundraising Club AGM and Awards day was held in the Talbot Social Club on Saturday 8^th June. The club was packed with Players, the Management & Coaching Team, Committee, and last but certainly not least, were a large number of members of the Fundraising Club, which has contributed greatly to Auchinleck Talbot FC since its formation.

Prior to the meeting, a minute’s silence was held to remember and honour the memory of members who are sadly no longer with us.

Due to ever-increasing costs in running the Club, while trying to maintain a level of success, we have found it necessary to alter the above Sponsorships as below while trying to keep the packages attractive to supporters —

MATCH SPONSORSHIP

All levels of Sponsorship/Hospitality will increase by £10 per head viz. Gold Level – £60; Silver Level – £50 and Bronze Level – £40.

 

PLAYER SPONSORSHIP

Package includes Replica Jersey; Name in Match Programme; Admission to match and Match Hospitality for 1 – £150. Additional Match Hospitality can be purchased at the above prices.

TESTIMONIAL YEAR – Tommy Sloan & Allan McLuckie

The Club is to organize a Testimonial Year for Team Manager Tommy Sloan and his Assistant Allan McLuckie over the course of next season, in appreciation of 20 outstanding years’ service with ATFC.

A Testimonial Committee will be formed prior to the season starting and a Fundraising Schedule put in place soon after.  More details will be made available soon.

CLOSE SEASON PITCH RENOVATIONS have now been part completed by our Pitch Partners Pro-Turfcare

Ltd. Aeriation work will be completed in the next couple of weeks and fertiliser applied thereafter.

BANK END TOILET REFURBISHMENT

Plans are now in place for the refurbishment of the Bank end Toilets which will hopefully be completed for the new Season.

 

DC Lighting Services Ltd will carry out our Annual Floodlight Maintenance Checks – Week Commencing 5^th August.
