TALBOT PRE-SEASON FRIENDLIES
Talbot’s pre-season schedule kicks off on the 13th of this month with a visit to Neilston Juniors to take part in the Hugh Blair Trophy. It’s been a number of years since Talbot last visited the Brig O’ Lea Stadium and no doubt a fair number of supporters will be in attendance to have a look at the clubs new signings.
On the 17th Talbot visit Irvine Victoria with a 7pm kick off.
Saturday the 20th Talbot again travel, this time to Newtongrange Star to celebrate the midlothiam club’s 25th anniversary of the opening of their New Victoria Park in 1994. Back then Talbot provided the opposition for the gala day opening where we went down 2-0.
NEW SIGNINGS
Talbot have added three new players to the squad while three players have left Beechwood. Kilwinning striker Bryan Boylan (Left) was the first to put pen to paper with the prolific goalscorer being added to an already deadly forward line. Bryan has spent most of his career at the “Buffs” after joining them from amateur football.
The backroom staff were then quick to add midfielder Corey Pearson (Centre) from Petershill after attracting attention in our recent matches with the Glasgow side. Corey is a former Dumbarton youth player and had spells with Kilsyth Rangers along with a term at Lowland League side BSC Glasgow. The trio of signings was completed when Renfrew defender and captain Kieran Healy (Right) was snapped up last week. Kieran has spent his entire career at Renfrew where he joined the club from youth side Renfrew Victoria.

TALBOT SIGN “BUFFS” HITMAN AS WAITE MOVES ON
Talbot have signed Bryan Boylan from premier league rivals Kilwinning Rangers. 29 year old Boylan who joined the “Buffs” straight from amateur football and was part of the SJFA squad who took part in the recent quadrangular tournament signed on the dotted line on Sunday. Talbot and David Waite have parted company this week as the ex-Ayr player moves on. David played a vital part in Talbot’s successful season and the club would like to thank him for his endevours.
