The match ended all square at 1-1 but, inspired by two penalties saves from Corey Armour, Talbot won the penalty shoot-out 4-3 to move into our second West of Scotland Cup Final in the last three years where we will face Largs Thistle.

Man of the Match Awards

Corey Armour not surprisingly won five of the seven awards from the sponsors thanks to saving the first two penalties in the shoot-out.

The Old Crocks picked Scott Schoneville as their man of the match; Martin Waddell presented the award.

Richie Sharpe & Friends’ award went to Corey Armour and appropriately the award was presented by former Talbot goalkeeper Mark Thomson.

The S.D. Bathroom Designs award was also won by Corey and presented by Robin Jones.

Unison South Ayrshire (Show Racism the Red Card) award to Corey was presented by John Kerr.

The Mauchline Bowling Club award again went to Corey and was presented by Billy Eaglesham.

Egger UK selected Connor Boyd as their man of the match with James Conn presenting the award.

Corey picked up his fifth award of the day from the Loons Supporters Club with Davie Cairney making the presentation.
