Talbot have released pictures of their 2023/24 first team kit which has seen a massive thumbs up from the fans. The new kit which is described
as a much lighter colour as last season’s highly sought after shirt will be on sale this Saturday between 2-5pm at the Talbot Social Club. Adult shirts are priced at £40 with childrens set at £30. Why not pop along and get your hands on the first edition.

FIRST CUP DRAW OF THE SEASON HAS TALBOT ON THE ROAD
Talbot were drawn away to League 3 side Port Glasgow in the recent Indigo Comms West of Scotland Cup after receiving a bye in the first
round. The game will take place on Saturday the 21st October 2023 with a 2pm kick-off at the “Undertakers” Parklea Community Sports Facility. It seems strange to think that it’s nearly eight year since we last paid a visit to Parklea when we enjoyed a 4-0 Scottish Junior Cup win over our hosts on the 24th January 2015 with Campbell, Spence, Gormley and Shankland doing the damage.
The draw threw up some cracking first round ties with Cumnock hosting Troon and Benburb travelling to Beith. In the second round the draw was rather more mundane with the big guns staying well apart.

The Club is delighted that a large turnout attended a very constructive and informative meeting. Despite the balance sheet showing a loss, due mainly to extensive ground improvements, the Club remains in a healthy financial position.

IRVINE MEADOW v TALBOT (Hospice Fundraiser)
IRVINE MEADOW v TALBOT (Hospice Fundraiser)
Irvine Meadow will, this weekend, host a fundraising event in aid of the Ayrshire Hospice.
This will be done in the memory of local man Mark Torrance (pictured above) who was a member of the Tartan Army for over 20yrs. Some of his fellow members and friends led by Ian Gillan and Andy Manson have planned a kilt walk from Hampden Park to Meadow Park. Around 25 people will participate in the walk, and it is hoped they will arrive and be announced into the ground at half-time, where the group will be led by Mark’s wife Alison and his brother Stephen.
We would like all Auchinleck Talbot fans travelling to the match to be aware of this fundraiser and, where possible support our Irvine friends in their efforts to support this worthy cause. For those unable to attend the match, donations can also be made via the following link:
