YOUTH REPORTS
2001 – Glenburn 1 v 3 Auchinleck Talbot. Talbot’s performance today wasn’t quiet the high class performance that we have became accustomed to their laid back attitude became quiet frustrating at times against a 10 man Glenburn team who seemed up for a challenge but even in an off day these lads still managed to pull off a victory and see us gaining another 3 points. Goals came from Jamie Conn, Taylor Kerr and Lewis Hood. Man of the match Lewis Bell.
2003 – Troon 4-1 Talbot. The boys fought hard and for long spells outplayed the league leaders. Troon used their height though and scored from three corners. Gavin Withers scored a penalty only to be told to retake it and the keeper then saved it which was a harsh descision and had a big impact on the score at that time and ultimately the game. Josh Jones scored his 17th goal of the season with an assist from Zak smith. Man of the match was captain Gavin withers, but Brad “the hitman” Harte and Logan Murray deserve special mentions for the way they played. The boys are home to hurlford on Saturday
2006 – Boswell and Tigers were on home duty this week against Bellfield. Both our teams played very impressive football at times which was really good to watch. Some good well worked goals were scored and great to see the boys playing as a team with smiles on their faces. Positive signs throughout our teams that we are progressing well now and hopefully we can keep up the good momentum we have enjoyed lately. Bit of work to be done on throw ins and playing out from the back but all in all a big improvement over the winter months by all the boys.
2007 – The boys played at home against Valspar on Saturday morning in what was an excellent, we’ll contested game. There was some good football on show from both sides. Talbot played some great attacking football and there was some solid defending and goalkeeping once again. The passing needs to be quicker at times though. Some nice goals scored and the woodwork was hit four times aswell. Special mention goes to Calum Auld for passing and shooting.
2009 – Both teams enjoyed their games today with some much improved play on show. Nice to see some of the things we worked on at training coming through in the games with goals coming from this . Special mentions to Finlay Ralphs for some nicely hit long range goals and good work ethic all round and Daryll underwood for his hard work in the middle of the pitch and good combination play with his teammates. Well done boys.

2001’s match postponed 2003’s match postponed 2005’s match postponed
2006’s Both Boswell and Tigers were away from home against Dalrymple. The games were played on a heavy grass pitch which our boys have not played on for a while. The excellent football the boys have been playing throughout our winter program was evident and at times some of our one touch passing was really good to watch. We are still a bit shot shy and more goals would just have finished off what was excellent football all round. Low scoring games which in part is due to the good work of our goalkeepers Lawrie Smith and Thomas Robertson. Only goal for us scored by Mason McNeillie. Lots of progression lately and the boys are now starting to play like a team. We are all looking forward to the season ahead.
2007’s match postponed
2008’s The boys played their first game of the new season at 7 a side football against Caledonian Thistle. Plenty of good work from the boys and lots to take from the game. It was difficult for them at times due to the level of aggression taken by the opposition at times. But they’ll learn to deal with that. On to next week in our first home game.
2009’s First day of the new season at Prestwick for our 2009s boys with two five a side teams playing , mixed results for both teams but overall a good morning of football with plenty of positives to take into the new season , size of pitches seemed to catch us off guard with stamina fading into the last game where both teams seemed out of steam ,a lot of pleasing play with the boys finding space through quick movement , some incisive passing and nice finishing which gives us a nice platform to build on for the coming weeks
Ian “Mo” Morrison
Auchinleck Talbot is very sad to announce the death of Past President Ian Morrison. Ian was a stalwart of the Club for many years and will be very sadly missed by everyone who knew him. The
heartfelt sympathies of everyone at the Club is extended to Irene and all the family.

YOUTH REPORTS
2001s – League Cup Semi Final
Talbot 5 Hurlford 3
Torrential rain high winds and freezing cold weather conditions were only some of the challenges these lads had to face today. This was the League Cup Semi – Final with two teams hungry for a win that would see them through to the final. As the support watched with baited breath they saw the first half kick off with a fierce looking Talbot team totally dominating the game, these lads were on a mission and Hurlford struggled to keep up with Talbot’s football skills, these were second to none with ever player playing to their full potential and taking us to a 4-1 lead at half time. The second half saw Hurlford come back stronger and managing to score another 2 goals, this was a wakeup call for the Talbot lads who stepped it up a gear, got their shape back staying focused and managing to take yet another goal off Hurlford which saw them securing their place in the final. Overall another outstanding performance from the Talbot lads today and an absolute pleasure to watch
