LARGS UNDER THE LIGHTS WHILE RAIN THREATENS SCOTTISH CUP TIE

Talbot will face Largs Thistle under the lights on Wednesday the 15th of November due to the tie being cancelled on the 25th as Largs take on Johnstone Burgh in the second round of the Indigo Comms West of Scotland Cup and Talbot head to Arthurlie for their rearranged PDM Premier League clash. The Arthurlie match is due to Troon and Girvan facing each other on the 25th to decide who’s travelling to Beechwood  to face Talbot on December the 9th.

This weekends Scottish Junior tie up at Aberdeen is a cause for concern due to reports of inclement weather reports in the North East which might put the visit to Bridge of Don in jeopardy and has forced Talbot into asking for a pitch inspection at 2pm on Friday as they are booked to stay overnight.

The weather situation has also alerted the SJFA who have penned the 2nd of December if the tie is cancelled. If this is the case then Talbot’s money spinning home tie against Pollok will have to be arranged for a future date. Reports have it that the pitch at the Aberdeen Sports Village is fast draining due to its proximity to Aberdeen links.

Other information regarding the match is it will be officiated by referee Kevin Murray, admission is £7 and £4
