Auchinleck Talbot wish to thank everyone who sponsored yesterday’s West of Scotland League Match against Gartcairn. It was a case of what might have been as we overturned a first half deficit to lead the match only to lose a late equaliser. The sponsor lounge was filled to capacity, and it was great to welcome two groups, A & C New Electrical Ltd, & Glasgow Independent Funeral Care who were sponsoring a match for the first time. A mention too to Billy Eaglesham from the Mauchline Bowling Club group, Billy was celebrating his 70^th Party. Also, a big thank you to all the bar staff and volunteers who work on the hospitality team, and to club host Kenny Paterson.

Willie Young Loyal Supporters Club – Player of The Year Award for Season 2023-24

The Willie Young Supporters Club selected Neil Slooves as their player of the year. The presentation was delayed as Neil was on holiday on the awards day. Neil is pictured receiving his award from club legend Willie Young.

Man of the Match Awards

The Willie Young Loyal Supporters Club Man of the Match award was won by Tariq Abed and presented by Willie Young.

Lillian White & Friends also selected Tariq and Geordie McCrone made the presentation.

Tariq picked up his third award of the day, and his fifth in two weeks when he was selected as the Glasgow Independent Funeral Care Group Man of the Match. Jimmy McGlinchey presented the award.
