Talbot Thanks
Auchinleck Talbot wish to thank everyone who sponsored yesterday’s Challenge Cup Match and our first ever encounter with Hutchison Vale from Edinburgh. It was also lovely to see all the Hutchison players come into the lounge after the match where they were warmly welcomed and applauded by the sponsors.
On a lighter note, we had the Schoneville Family sponsoring a match for the first time since Scott joined the club. There was a fair bit of planning involved as they each have their own commitments many of which are football related, however this game was earmarked as one they could all attend together, only for Tucker to rotate the squad with no place for Scott. Tucker is pictured with the family receiving his friendly ear bashing.
Prior to the Man of the match awards, three belated awards were presented to players who were on holiday on the annual presentation day, all awards were presented by Club Treasurer Bobby Millar.
The Peter Bryce Memorial Trophy was won by Aiden Wilson.
The John Holroyd Memorial Trophy winner was Ruaridh Langan
The Goal of the season sponsored by MKM was won by Aiden Wilson for his strike against Darvel in the Junior Cup Semi-Final.
