SPECTATOR INFORMATION

The AuchinleckTalbot support will be accommodated in the Main Stand and East Stand, and the Largs Thistle support in the North Stand (See Attached Ground Plan)

 

WE ADVISE FANS TO ARRIVE AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.

  1. New Douglas Park / The Hope CBD Stadium is a designated ground – therefore compliance with local bye-laws is important. NO drinking in street. NO drinking in the ground.  NO smoking in ground.

 

  1. Banners must be fire retardant. No flags with heavy wooden sticks.

 

  1. Anyone letting off flares or smoke bombs will be arrested.

 

  1. Bottles and cans of water, juice, etc. are not allowed in the stadium.

 

  1. Turnstiles open 3.05pm. Kick off will be 4.10pm.

 

  1. Clubs Are Responsible For The Conduct Of Their Own Supporters

Please note that parking facilities will be available to supporters at the COUNTY BUILDINGS CAR PARK IN HAMILTON ML3 0AA which is a 5 minute walk from the Stadium.

WEST REGION PREMIERSHIP – MEDAL PRESENTATION

Following comments on the Medal Presentation after receiving the Premiership Trophy at our Match versus Pollok last Wednesday evening, the club consider that in the best interest of all parties we clarify a few points and hopefully put an end to this matter.

The Club was informed by West region Secretary Scott Robertson prior to the game that we would be presented with the Premiership Trophy, and that he would bring the winners medals along with him for the Club to do as they wish with them. Normally we would present them to our players at our POTY event, however due to circumstances out with our control a date has yet to be fixed for this and with the season drawing to a close we had arranged with our coaching staff to distribute the medals to the players after the game in the Dressing Room, innocently they were handed out on the pitch.

Finally, we are sure that lessons have been learned all round, and more importantly it is the Club’s wish that no blame be attached to West Region Secretary Scott Robertson or his committee who have unfortunately come in for unfair criticism.

FROST COVERS

The Club is looking for volunteers to assist us with the removal of our frost covers from the storage area, fixing with the ratchet straps kindly donated by Jamsy McMurdo and storing securely again. If you can manage along please report to Beechwood Park this Saturday coming 1 June at 10am.
